From this assessment task, I learned that passive learning involves receiving information without actively engaging with it, such as listening to a lecture or reading a textbook. On the other hand, active learning requires the learner to participate in the learning process by asking questions, discussing ideas, and applying concepts in real-world scenarios.

I found that passive learning can be helpful for gaining a basic understanding of a topic, but active learning is essential for deepening that understanding and retaining the information long-term. By actively engaging with the material through discussions, group work, and hands-on activities, I was able to make connections between different concepts and apply them in a meaningful way.
