How glass is made?

Glass is made by melting together silica sand, soda ash, and limestone in a furnace at high temperatures. The mixture is heated until it becomes molten and then shaped into the desired form, such as sheets, bottles, or jars. The molten glass is then cooled slowly to anneal it and make it strong and durable. Additional ingredients can be added to the mixture to give the glass different colors or properties. Once the glass has cooled and solidified, it is cut, polished, and inspected for quality before being packaged and shipped for use.
