Occurance of the sea breeze?

The sea breeze typically occurs during the day when the land heats up faster than the water. This temperature difference causes the air above the land to rise, creating a low pressure area. The cooler air over the water then moves in to fill this void, creating the sea breeze. The sea breeze is most common in coastal areas and is strongest in the afternoon when the temperature difference between the land and water is greatest.
