Two types of Chemical bonding?

1. Ionic bonding: In ionic bonding, electrons are transferred from one atom to another, resulting in the formation of positively and negatively charged ions that are held together by electrostatic forces.

2. Covalent bonding: In covalent bonding, atoms share electrons in order to achieve a stable electron configuration. This results in the formation of molecules where the atoms are held together by the shared electrons.
