What do you think about home office?

I can't believe we had to face a pandemic to have companies really think about letting their employees work from home. I'm working remotely for one year now and I have to say it was the best period of my career. What do you guys think about home office / remote work?

For sure it has its pros and cons, but I personally enjoy it. I can be much more productive than in the office where I am often distracted by side discussions with my colleagues. It's also true that you have to be really self-disciplined in order to stay focused on your work.
