The source of erythromycin is a 1g vial requiring dilution to 20ml with sterile water for injection before being added to the D5W. 2. Calculate the rate of flow of the infusion in liters per minute? 3. If 1 litre of a parenteral fluid is to be administered over a 12 hours period using an infusion set that delivers 20 drops/ml, what will be the rate of flow in drops per minute?
