I am 75 years old and my name is Maria. I am living in Romania and this internet thing is news for me. My children live far away and I was thinking about keeping in touch with them through email and Facebook and video call. This is why I am asking your opinion. Thank you very much for your time! (my niece translated the text)
I have heard this word so much but have no clue what the heck is craigslist and why is it called Craig's? Was he a man who started a list? I am 56 years old, please do not yell at me 'cause I am not up to date with all the trending information internetwise. Thank you
As from 20th july wearing a surgical mask is mandantory part of the national preventive campaigne I am turning to online shopping. I do hate wearing a piece of material covering my mouth and nose I am short of breath and the summer heat outside makes the situation even worse. As the news came to light the decision was made, I give up my weekly routine shopping tour and check out the online stock of the marketplaces such as Amazon or Ebay. Which one would you recommend?
Wearing a mask while shopping in Walmart is a must starting from 20th july. In what other shops do we have to cover our mouth and nose? Does it have to be a proper mask or a scarf would do the job? I've read how this preventive campaigne was done in the EU and there people were allowed to wear a scarf, too.
Too many coincidences occured around the Trump dinasty and the Goya brand these times... This picture alongside the tweet was posted after Goya CEO Robert Unanue praised president Trump at a public event... Not much before Trump was the one who named the Hispanic people rapists, then his daughter is advertising a product of the largest Hispanic-owned food company in the U.S.. Pure hypocrisy
What do you think about having all these accounts and more..? I do have Yahoo, LinkedIn, 9gag registrations and at least 25 applications on my mobile to manage each and every day. I use them for work and social life aswell but these days a feeling concerns me that I should delete at least the half of them because being online takes so much of my freetime... As soon I realize how much time I spent on Amazon checking out something and comparing prices, get angry and frustrated. Precious hours are spent with senseless clicking and caressing the screen instead of doing something useful... and there is my Netflix and HBO Go registration, binge watching some brainteasing series... that isn't that useless but still unhealthy. How do you manage your free time and the amount of time spent online or in front of screens?
I can not wait to watch the matches, the soccer world cup is one of my favorite sport shows
All the social media and the news pages are talking about the covid-19, BLM protests and fighting against antisemitism. Filmstars, influencers, vloggers, sportmen and even businessmen are taking action and express their feelings and what concerns them these trubling times. Also the NBA legend Kareem Abdul-Jabbar, btw he is one of my favorite sportsmen, is fighting and took a side and represents a fully euitable and politically correct, tolerant view. Despite all these strong and loud opinions, articles, videos, etc. that come to light each and every day I feel like nothing is changing. The harder we want to change the more responsibility we have and I am concerned about the outcome and the consequences... Also what could I do as a common person? I am not a protester type.. else? Is this even my fight as a Hungarian living in Prague?
I saw the news and found this video on Dailymail that a man was attacked by an alligator in North Carolina and luckily escaped. How is that even possible? I mean I am happy for him, but is there anything to be done, a technique to save yourself from a leathal bite or two? Why I am this curious is that I was going to take my family to Egypt to see the desert, the pyramids and the river Nile and it is known there you can find some nasty beasts aswell. I fear for my family's and my own life but a trip to Egypt is going to be a marvelous experience for my children and husband. Maybe next year, until then we have some time to prepare ourselves for the adventures to come.
I am taking my family sometime in the future - special thanks to of the Covid-19 - around Europe for a three-week-long roadtrip. We had been planning this excursion for 2 months, now we have time to rethink the means of transport. These weeks I had several problems with Google Maps and Waze too, but none of the other gps applications meant better solution. These are the two most common and hopefully reliable mobile applications that should be used on a trip more than 3000 kms long. Do you think I should trust any of them? Which gps applications have you tried that would fit my plans and would drive us in the middle of nowhere?
